The provincial department of Environment and Natural Resources yesterday cooperated with the local agent orange/dioxin victims society and department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs as well as relevant agencies to discuss plans of organization of “Day for Agent Orange/dioxin victims” and respond the local Fatherland Front Committee’s call upon “Acting for dioxin victims”.
The organization’s purpose is to raise community’s awareness on dioxin disaster to share and help agent orange/dioxin victims.
As planned, the anniversary of “Day for Agent Orange/dioxin victims” will be held at the provincial Culture Center on Aug. 9, 2011 with about 600 participants.
