On July 22nd, provincial steering committee of the national target program of new rural construction held a conference to evaluate results of the first 6 months and directions for the last 6 months 2015. Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Vice Chairman of PPC, chaired the conference.
In 2015, mobilized capital for the program reached VND1,388.218 billion. Up to now, the percentage of asphalted rural roads was 85.5%. The proportion of rural population using national electricity reached 99.91%. The proportion of rural households using clean water reached 97.5%. 100% irrigation system ensured water for crops, fruit trees… At the end of 2015, the steering committee will put more effort to fulfill targets of 24 communes of new rural construction.
Concluding at the conference, Mr. Mai Hung Dung asked localities to strengthen the direction, review of communes registering for new rural construction in 2015; set out the list of necessary constructions for early allocation of capital; simultaneously, put forward various measures to finish criteria of traffic, culture and schools, adjust criteria in accordance with specific conditions of localities…
