Over the past years, the provincial trade union at all levels has many positive activities on disseminating traffic safety for laborers and public servants, contributing to minimize traffic accidents in the locality.

Positive dissemination
Rep of the provincial Labor Union said that right after the provincial Labor Union’s standing board sets out dissemination plans on traffic safety among laborers, all level trade union launches plans to grassroot level and workers. Accordingly, grassroot trade union sets out creative ways to minimize traffic accidents through distributing leaflets, documents, postcards on law on traffic safety; selling and changing quality helmets for laborers; holding seminars and talk-shows on traffic order and law on road traffic safety for laborers; expanding examples of implementing traffic culture and more.
In the other hand, trade union of industrial parks organizes training classes and contests on traffic safety, music performance as well as guidance on how to drive motorbikes safely for workers at industrial parks.
Specifically, the provincial industrial parks’ trade union just held the learning contest on law on road traffic and implemented traffic culture in this year. At the contest, participants reinforce, offer knowledge on traffic safety for laborers. Especially, through this contest, participants draw experiences of participating in traffic.
Dao Tran Dong, vice chairman of the provincial industrial parks’ trade union cum head of the contest’s organizing board said that the contest is to disseminate widely on the Law on Road Traffic, improve awareness on traffic order and safety among trade unionists, laborers, contributing to build traffic culture in the community; ensuring traffic order and safety, minimizing traffic accident and traffic congestion in the province.
The contest also created a healthy and useful playground and mutual exchange between grassroot trade unions, increasing skills of behavior and communication when participating in traffic.
Promoting efficiency of contests
Not only dissemination, the provincial trade union at all levels expands new models and good ways on ensuring traffic safety. Realizing efficiency of dissemination, many contests on traffic safety are launched and expanded. This is also an activity showing all level agencies’ attention to laborers’ material and spiritual life and assuring traffic safety for laborers.
Notably, contests always receive positive response from numerous laborers. At contests, many significant slogans such as “traffic safety means without accidents”, “no driving when drunk”, “wearing helmets when driving” and more contribute to promulgate and improve traffic culture for laborers. Also through programs and contests, new ways are applied drastically.

Thenceforth, we will petition the company directorate to implement proper, significant and effective ways at units, contributing to ensure traffic safety and minimize traffic accidents. This is also a significant activity of taking care for laborers”.
