Diverse summer recreations for children

In summer, cultural centers, entertainment sites… across the province have promoted their role to serve children with sound recreations. With the theme “Let’s join hand and act for children”, the provincial Summer steering committee cooperated with Children’s House (CH) of the province, localities and agencies to organize entertainment activities for children in summer. Kids were learning aerobic at Di An town Cultural Center Currently, the provincial CH and 4 CHs of localities organized talent classes for children such as: aerobic, dance, modern dance, martial arts, chess, swimming, table tennis…There are 50 talent classes of 22 subjects under 3 categories: art, sport and vocation guidance, at the provincial CH. The number of learning children here is nearly 1,500. Time schedule is on Saturdays, Sundays and weekdays. Deputy Director of provincial CH Mr. Nguyen Phan Thai Anh said: “We have chosen and retained talent seeds to cultivate. Little talents can show their skills through tours across the province and regions. They will be also key leaders of activities at schools”. Some popular names like Gia Linh, Cat Tuong, Phi Hung from provincial CH obtained outstanding achievements at Do Re Mi contest.Deputy Secretary of provincial Youth Union Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Mai explained: “In this summer, Vietnam-Korea Cultural Exchange Center opened at provincial CH in order to facilitate children’s learning of Korean, make-up, cooking…”Others cultural houses have arranged summer classes for children to train their vocations and broaden knowledge. Parents also want a helpful summer class for their children. Ngoc Nhu, a 9-year-old little girl, is learning modern dancing class at Di An town Cultural Center said: “I love this class and I wish I could become a dancer”. Ms. Minh, who is mother of Lan Anh (5 years old) learning aerobic class, affirmed: “I want a sound, helpful playground for my child in this summer.
