Diversified activities take care of workers’ offspring

Some workers’ offspring have not received good healthcare yet, because of having difficult circumstances. Through organizing models on healthcare, trade union locals in the province have contributed to sharing the difficulty with workers.

From “nutritional soup pot” program

At the weekend, Anh Bao lodging facility in Binh An ward’s Binh Duong 2 quarter in Di An town always gets crowded with workers from industrial parks.

Pregnant workers or those breeding babies at Toan Thinh Co.Ltd. in TDM city under free medical check-up

The majority of these workers are present there to take part in the “nutritional soup pot” program.  Coming to the program, they are guided how to cook nutritional soup pots for their children, especially ones from 6 to 24 year-old months.

Along with the “nutritional soup pot” program, trade unions at all levels also coordinated with the ward’s Women’s Union and Health Station to organize a program on bone examination free of charge for children at industrial parks and lodging facilities over the past time. Many free healthcare programs for workers’ offspring were also organized by trade unions at all levels.

Diversified activities

Provincial Labor Union also teamed up with trade unions at all levels and lodging facilities to mobilize the offspring of workers with difficult circumstances to attend charity classes or organize recreational activities for children at lodging facilities…over the past time.

Reportedly, volunteer workers’ clubs mobilizes hundreds of workers’ offspring to attend charity classes in communes, wards and townships every year. These classes not only help workers’ offspring know reading and writing, but also provide them with basic socio-cultural knowledge in order to strive to become useful citizens.

Nguyen Thien Phuoc, Vice-Chairman of provincial Labor Union said that over the past time, trade unions at all levels of the province paid more attention to workers’ offspring. Provincial Labor Union also presented scholarships and gifts to workers’ offspring with good academic results.

Such these apart, trade unions at all levels of the province boosted activities taking care of workers’ offspring, comprising of building kindergartens, organizing charity classes, giving milk products, setting up bookcases…
