In response to the 2017 provincial Workers’ Month and Workers’Week, provincial Youth Union have instructed its branches to jointly organize a range of practical activities, contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of young workers at industrial parks and lodging facilities; ensuring social welfare and practically taking care of the lives of laborers..
Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that provincial Youth Union has set a target of getting 100% of district/town/city-level Youth Union branches to organize ceremonies to launch the 2017 Workers’ Week with such practical activities as providing free medical check-ups; organizing goods-selling programs with basic prices, art performances…

The Youth Union branches of districts, towns, TDM city, provincial Business Bloc, Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd., Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Co. will also organize at least one out of the following activities: honoring outstanding young workers; organizing a festival for young workers, cultural-sports activities; giving consultancy programs on reproductive health for young workers at industrial parks…In addition, each unit will strive to have at least 50 young workers and offspring of young workers with difficult circumstances awarded scholarships while organizing 2 programs “Weekend playgrounds” for the offspring of young workers.
Provincial Youth Union has also asked for its branches at district/town/city levels to be proactive to mobilize lodging proprietors to reach “youth model lodging facility” targets as well as propagandizing the practical significance of the “dream room” program. Youngsters in areas crowded with young workers like TDM city and towns of Thuan An, Di An, Tan Uyen and Ben Cat will strive to set up one youth model lodging facility and mobilize organizations, individuals to make presentation of one “dream” room.
Especially, provincial-level activities for young workers will take place in May. They comprise of a festival “Accompanying young workers 247” at Thuan An town-based Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park; a week selling “sale-off” goods for young workers, the 3rd provincial festival “giving strength to young workers” and “lighting dreams of young workers” 2017, a contest “Resounding streets”, a job day for young workers, a talk show on international integration together with many other meaningful activities at lodging facilities…
