As planned, localities and mass organizations in the province will organize a variety of activities celebrating the 2016 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival for young workers.
On Jan.17, provincial Support Center for Young Laborers will kick off a mini-football tournament for young workers at My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park-based Khong Gian football ground and organize an exchange program with Youth Union branches in Ben Cat town.

Price subsidized goods for young workers on the occasion of the Tet festival 2015
Following the above event, the 3rd provincial journey “Connecting young workers” will take place on Jan.24. Accordingly, 100 young workers will come to Dau Tieng district to take part in such volunteer activities as visiting and presenting gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, poor children and households. They will also pay a visit to Cau mountain-Dau Tieng reservoir, participate in a program named “Spring with love and compassion” at Thai Son pagoda…
The center will also organize a “Spring with love and compassion” program for young workers in the social housing area of My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park with a series of significant activities, including organizing a festive day on folk games, a singing contest for young workers; donating gifts to young workers with difficult circumstances; exchanging with famous singers.
Specially, a Lunar New Year’s Eve program for young workers who are not able to return home for Tet will be held at the center on Feb.7. Do Van Phung, Deputy Director of the center said: “Apart from the above activities, the center will team up with Youth Union branches, companies to organize “Spring with love and compassion” programs in areas crowded with workers and mobilize more than 500 gifts for young workers with needy circumstances”.
As of now, Thuan An town’s Youth Union has implemented a plan on the organization of activities taking care of young workers on the occasion of Tet. Accordingly, the town’s Youth Union will coordinate with provincial Youth Federation to give 12 free bus tickets for young workers to help them return home for Tet and organize a program selling goods with subsidized price for young workers and locals.
Many art performance programs in celebration of the Party and Lunar New Year 2016 will also take place at the local lodging facilities. In addition, the town’s Youth Union will join hands with relevant agencies to realize a program named “Enjoying the 2016 Tet festival-Connecting affection”. The program will present 400 gifts to young workers with difficult circumstances, organize a culinary contest, and give 400 square glutinous rice cakes for young workers.
From Feb.2 to 6, Di An town’s Youth Federation and its affiliates will hold programs celebrating the Lunar New Year 2016 for young workers with such interesting activities as art performances, lucky draws, small parties…This year, the town’s Youth Union will further organize a special art performance themed “Connecting love” at the park belonging to the town’s administration center on the 3rd, 4th and 5th days of the Lunar New Year 2016.
Many programs celebrating the Lunar New Year 2016 themed “Spring with love and affection” will be also organized in the front of Dat Cuoc industrial park in Tan Uyen town. Along with folk games, they will provide free medical check-up and medicine for 100 needy young workers, make propaganda on traffic safety, donate Tet gifts to young workers living away from home…
