Council offers full moon festival gifts to children in poverty of Phu My

You make my child’s dream come true.”Not Truc alone, children in poverty of Thu Dau Mot City should be enjoying the great full moon festival thanks to to care of local authorities and unions.Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Chair of Thu Dau Mot City People’s Council said that this year’s full moon festival shall eye 453 gift packages offered to children in poverty and difficult circumstances across 14 communes and wards.“By the preliminary plans, we have furnished the best gifts to them on occasion of full moon festival. They may enjoy it earlier,” said Dong.Full moon festival is considered as special holiday for children, thus, kind-hearted people and social communities of the city have donated to take care of them.Beside the gifts, activities have been organized thoroughly to service the children.Mr. Dong added that on September 17, gift and scholarship offering ceremony would be held to appraise excellent-learning children in difficult circumstances. The ceremony is co-held by Thu Dau Mot City Youth’s League and Department of Education and Training.At the event, it is expected that Provincial Children Fund should offer 100 gift packages at the cost of VND 300,000 each while City Children Fund 300 gift packages at the cost of VND 200,000 each.
