On March 9, the provincial party committee, People’s Council and Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held an early-year press meeting 2015 at Lucky Square Convention and Exhibition Center. Nguyen Minh Giao, head of the provincial Committee for Education and Propaganda; Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and other delegates attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Tran Thanh Liem vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee briefed on local situation of socio-economy, national defense and security in the past year and orientation and task in 2015.
In the last year, the world economic and political situation showed complicated changes. However, domestic economic situation showed positive changes by curbing inflation but difficulties of production and business were still high. In this context, under instruction of central authority and creation and motivation of the provincial party committee, Binh Duong made greater efforts to ensure local economy’s growth and stability. Most of tasks and goals reached and surpassed the set plans.
Addressing the meeting, Nguyen Minh Giao said that the provincial common achievements are thanks to important contributions of mass media inside and outside of the province. The provincial leaders affirm that local administration would facilitate mass media’s operation and hoped that these mass media agencies would continue to accompany with the locality to become a civilized and modern city. On this occasion, Binh Duong also granted prizes for excellent press works and more.
