Morning 29 Sep, Eastern International University (EIU) held the new school year 2017-2018 beginning ceremony. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, General Director of Becamex IDC Corporation.
In the 2017-2018 school year, EIU has 568 new students, of which 68% students achieved 20 points or more. With the motto of quality training as the core, EIU has created the best learning environment, research practice for students. During the study, students are able to practice at subsidiary companies of Becamex and industrial parks developed by Becamex. In addition, students are equipped with practical skills, especially English, with the lowest level of IELTS 6.0. In addition, the university also offers start-up courses to realize dreams at a business incubator built on its campus in 2017.
Mr. Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, presented flowers to teachers and students on occasion of new school year beginning 2017-2018.
On this occasion, EIU signed a cooperation agreement with Festo and Wu's Tech Vietnam, and also granted President List 2016-2017’s scholarships to 3 students, 20 talent scholarships to students with high enrollment points; Becamex and EIU 2017’s scholarships to poor studious students. The school also rewarded student group, who won second prize of province-level scientific and technological innovation competition.
