On August 14, provincial Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to conclude school year 2018-2019 and announce missions in school year of 2019-2020. Attending the meeting was Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.

In school year 2018-2019, education quality in the province had remarkable development, which was provedby results of important national examinations. Namely, at national excellent students’ exam, 29 students won prizes, including 1 first prize, 4 second prizes; at national high school exam 2019, 98.65% of high school students passed the exam, the overall average score was ranked 4thnationwide, the average score of 8/9 exam subjects was in the top 10 provinces and cities throughout the country.
In school year 2019-2020, this sector continues to carry out basic and comprehensive innovation of Education and Training, complete the conditions for new programs and textbooks from school year 2020-2021...
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hung acknowledged efforts of the entire education sector in the last school year, and asked this sector to specify 9 task groups and 5 solution groups, devise specific plan for operational programs according to characteristics of the province; Focus on implementing a number of key tasks in the new school year, namely: Continuing to effectively implement Resolution No. 29 of the Party Central Committee and Provincial Party Committee's action program on basic and comprehensive innovation of education and training; attaching importance to training and retraining the staff to improve the quality of teachers; calling for investment resources for education; paying attention to education of cultural behavior for students, set examples of teachers...
