Efforts made to care for teachers' lives
One of the key activities of the provincial Education branch's Trade Union is to promptly understand and advise the higher-level trade union to support union members in stabilizing their lives. For example, in the 2023-2024 school year, the Trade Union donated more than 500 gifts with a total amount of over 600 million VND to officials, teachers, and workers who were sick, had difficult circumstances, or retired.

As implementing the "Welfare Program for Union Members and Employees", the provincial Education branch's Trade Union signed a cooperation agreement with other units to bring the best welfare products and services to employees in the educational branch. The branch ensures full and timely implementation of policies such as salaries, bonuses, and allowances for employees, especially teachers working far from home. In addition, the provincial Education branch's Trade Union continued to maintain the "For Poor Women" Fund to help women develop their family income or improve their family's living conditions.
Ms. Tran Thi Kim Cuc, Chairwoman of the Grassroots Trade Union of An My High School in Thu Dau Mot City, mentioned that, aside from addressing material needs, the provincial Education branch's Trade Union also initiated various activities to enhance the spiritual and cultural well-being of teachers and staff on significant occasions. “These are useful playgrounds to improve the spiritual life of the teachers and employees, contributing to promoting the emulating spirit, improving the quality of teaching, and building a healthy cultural environment in each agency and unit,” said Ms. Cuc.
Continue to work for the grassroots
In the 2024-2025 school year, the provincial Education branch's Trade Union identified many challenges. This is the fourth year that the education and training branch has implemented the action program for the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress; continued to implement policies and solutions for fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training. In which, trade union activities determine the goal of reaching the grassroots. Therefore, in this school year, the Trade Union continues to thoroughly grasp the directives of superiors to effectively implement key tasks; do a good job of communication, raising awareness of teachers and staff about new policies and regimes; promote emulation movements to innovate teaching and learning.
Grassroots trade unions under the provincial Education branch's Trade Union gave support to northern provinces affected by storms and floods. After the launch, as of early October, the amount of money donated by the provincial Education branch's Trade Union was nearly 2.5 billion VND.
"Building on the progress made, as we enter the 2024-2025 school year, the provincial Education branch's Trade Union remains committed to improving the well-being and safeguarding the rights and interests of teachers and school employees.
