The goal of education is to raise the people's intellectual level, train manpower and foster talents. Education and training is an important factor to create a sustainable socio-economic development, so the province always pays attention to investment in education. From a focus on investment, the education career develops continuously. Only in recent years, Binh Duong education has attracted attention for the provinces and cities because of the breakthrough in the quality of education. At the national excellent student contests in recent years, the provincial student union achieved more prizes, especially the year that won the first prize; Particularly, by 2020, there will be 34 prizes, including 5 second prizes, 11 third prizes and 18 consolation prizes.
The quality of provincial education has become a phenomenon, reflected in the results of the annual national high school exams. Particularly for the 2018-2019 school year, statistics show that the average score of high school graduation exams is ranked 4/63, of which English is ranked 2 out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. Evaluating the quality of education, Ms. Nguyen Hong Sang, Director of Department of Education and Training, acknowledged that, by the beginning of the school year 2019-2020, Binh Duong education achieved many positive results at all levels. At the primary education level, the percentage of students completing the program reached 99.99%; for lower secondary education, the proportion of grade 9 students graduating from lower secondary schools reached 95.95% and 98.65% of students graduated from upper secondary schools.
“Assessment of quality, only secondary education has ensured that students are equipped with high school knowledge and knowledge about technology and vocational high school. The level of knowledge equipement for high school students has reached a good level, the quality of secondary education in the province's education and training sector has been in the top group of provinces and cities of the southern key economic region and is currently of high quality. Facilities are constantly being invested
In order to make the quality as mentioned above, in addition to focusing on developing the team, the investment in building school facilities is always given priority. In fact, the most obvious development of provincial education is school facilities. As an industrial development locality, the province increases tens of thousands of students every year, yet schools in the province basically meet the learning requirements of the children of the people. This is because the Education and Training sector has coordinated with departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to advise the province to invest in building schools and schools, especially in industrial development areas. By the end of 2019, the whole education sector has 676 schools and centers, with 483,675 students at all levels. By the end of 2019, the province had 305/383 schools and public centers built up, accounting for 79.63%. Construction of schools up to national standards is also paid attention to by the province. By the end of 2019, the province has 72.6% of schools meeting national standards. It is noteworthy that the province has met the goal of building a national standard school in the period of 2016-2020 ahead of schedule.
