One of the most important aspects of preparing for the new school year is completing school facilities and teaching and learning equipment. Provincial ET sector and localities are actively repairing and building new facilities and green, clean, beautiful schools to create a spacious appearance and ensure a successful new school year.
According to the Provincial Department of Education & Training, material facilities are always a top concern to the province. Accordingly, as soon as the 2023-2024 school year ended, the ET sector directed affiliated offices and schools to comprehensively check and evaluate the situation of material facilities, educational equipment, etc., to propose localities soon have plans to repair and upgrade facilities and purchase adequate teaching equipment to serve well for the new school year 2024-2025.
With early preparation, currently provincial ET sector has many projects being urgently executed. At Uyen Hung Primary School (Tan Uyen City), the construction unit is urgently completing stages of cleaning the campus, rearranging function rooms, library... to prepare for the new school year. According to Nguyen Thi Ha, the school's principal, the teachers are currently cleaning the classrooms and school grounds. In addition, the school has also reinforced and repaired all damaged tables and chairs and installed new hand wash sinks for students. The school is trying to quickly finish all preparations to welcome students into the new school year.
Di An City has seen a rapid increase in the number of students each school year. Therefore, before each new school year, the preparation work for material facilities has received special attention from city leaders at all levels. Recently, Di An City's leadership directly visited and worked with the city's school boards to learn about the situation and preparations for the new school year 2024-2025. In general, schools in Di An City have made minor repairs to their facilities, cleaned the environment, prepared clean and beautiful landscapes, and arranged the best human resources to be ready for the new school year.

In addition to repairing and upgrading facilities, purchasing equipment, teaching equipment, etc., the provincial ET sector is directed and carried out the work of enrolling students and strengthening the workforce for the ET sector in the new school year 2024-2025. Schools in the province have been carrying out student enrollment work according to plan.
According to Phan Van Truong, Principal of Thanh Hoi Primary School (Tan Uyen City), the school completed the enrollment at the beginning of new school year with 162 first-grade students. Following the instructions of superiors, after completing enrollment, the school arranges the number of students/classes to assign classroom teachers accordingly.
Besides, localities are urgently recruiting human resources for the ET sector. Currently, localities have completed receiving applications to recruit teachers and staff as planned. Meanwhile, professional training has also been arranged to disseminate, update, and train educational managers, teachers, etc., on new content and knowledge for the new school year, especially the issue related to changing textbooks for classes according to the 2018 General education program.
