Investing in high quality educational institutions
To education and training sector, high-quality services are high-quality institutions. Therefore, the sector focused on enhancing the quality of key secondary schools, high-quality high schools, Hung Vuong gifted high school. At present, the province has 5 key secondary schools, Trinh Hoai Duc high-quality high school (Thuan An Town), and Hung Vuong gifted high school. First of all, facilities and teaching equipment of these schools are invested properly by the province. The province also has a policy for capable students of the schools to encourage students to achieve high academic achievements.
According to Nguyen Hong Sang, Director of Department of Education and Training, to ensure the program implementation on schedule with high effectiveness, the sector focused on implementing many solutions. And to foster good students for the province, the education and training sector built teaching staff with high moral quality. According to the sector’s evaluation, the teachers in these schools are enthusiastic, dedicated to their work, qualified and professional. In addition, the sector carried out the modernization of teaching methods in order to maximize self-learning, self-study, self-learning capacity, and information processing of teachers and students in a systematic way to achieve analytical and synthetic thinking; to enhance the autonomy, creativity, to form and enhance scientific research capacity and application into practice; developing the form of teaching, learning through the Internet, teaching in English for some subjects.

To generate generations of elite students winning high prizes in competitions and to be a human resource contributing to the development of the province in the future, is the target of education and training sector. After half-term implementation of the program No. 24 of provincial Party Committee, the effectiveness has been shown through figures. In 3 school years, the number of key secondary school students admitted to gifted high school accounted for a large proportion. In the school year 2017-2018, 55.9% key secondary schools were admitted to 10th grades of Hung Vuong gifted high school. The percentage of key secondary school students, who won prizes at provincial excellent students’ exams was impressive, and was 40.5% in the last school year alone. Regarding Hung Vuong School, the quality of education has been reflected in student achievements through each school year. The rate of national excellent students increased clearly: in 2016, 9 prizes; in 2017, 15 prizes; in 2018, 24 prizes.
Ms. Sang said that in order to ensure the effectiveness of the high-quality service program, the sector strengthened the consolidation and implementation of solutions to improve the quality of key secondary schools, high-quality high schools, gifted high schools to build up the core of good teaching, good learning emulation movement; contribute to creating high-quality human resources to serve industrial and urban development in Binh Duong. One of the major tasks of the sector is to carry out the renewal of content, teaching methods, assessment methods; improve the teaching and learning quality of foreign languages, informatics; enhance physical education and cultural activities; develop active solutions in the management and use of young talents to ensure high quality human resources in the future.
