The Humanitarian Month is taking place with many significant activities. Mrs.Trinh said that this year’s Humanitarian Month is implemented in association with the “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address” campaign. Accordingly, provincial Red Cross Society has instructed its branches to strengthen activities propagandizing and calling for enterprises, organizations and donors to join hands in taking care of the local people with difficult circumstances. Along with the monthly subsidy of VND300,000 for each humanitarian address, provincial Red Cross Society and its branches mobilized additional significant and practical gifts from donors for needy people.
From the fund mobilized, provincial Red Cross Society will visit, offer gifts to 2,109 humanitarian addresses across the province from May 26. On this occasion, the society will offer the six-month subsidy of more than VND3.79billion to humanitarian addresses together with 2,118 gifts from donors.

During the 2019-2020 period, the campaign has been realized and supported towards sustainable development with a target offering help to all humanitarian addresses…
It is known that over the past time, provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels boosted propaganda activities among officials and members, helping them know more about the significance of the campaign, thereby actively mobilizing collectives, individuals to offer help to needy cases…Ho Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of Phu Giao district’s Red Cross Society said that over the past time, the district’s Red Cross Societies at all levels paid more attention to carrying out the campaign with the participation of donors, helping needy people rise up in life. During the Humanitarian Month 2020, the district’s Red Cross Society organized 5 programs offering gifts to the local needy people from the support of donors.
Red Cross Societies at communal levels of the province have also implemented the campaign very effectively. Most localities have called on donors to get involved in the campaign by many practical activities. For example, the Red Cross Society of Phu Tho ward in TDM city has just mobilized donors to donate 228 gifts worth more than VND64million to the local needy people. Le Nguyen Hoang Anh, Chairwoman of Phu Tho ward’s Red Cross Society said that this was one of practical activities done by the local Red Cross Society during the Humanitarian Month 2020. The campaign together other humanitarian activities has received enthusiastic support from donors, thereby contributing to arousing compassion in the community.
