Early August 27, Eastern International University (EIU) solemnly held the 2022 graduation ceremony for new bachelors and engineers in faculties, including business administration, engineering, information technology and nursing at provincial Exhibition and Convention Center.
The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Ha affirmed that the birth of EIU is in line with the province's policy always considering education and science - technology as the top national policy. With a modern training environment and advanced curricula, the school has affirmed its prestige, brand, and formed up a sense of innovative startup ecosystem among students.
He highly appreciated the efforts and contributions by the school over the past time, contributing to supplementing high-quality human resources for the local sustainable development. He also wanted the school to further improve the quality of its training and open a number of majors in line with current requirements, especially in building the local smart city and innovation zone. For new bachelors, engineers and students of the university, he advised them to constantly improve their knowledge, skills and perfect in all aspects to become global citizens.
EIU was founded by Becamex IDC, the main investor, along with 2 other businesses, VSIP and TDC. The school has started operating since 2011 under the model of a business university. In addition to performing the general tasks of a university as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training, EIU is an important element in the implementation of Becamex IDC's goals and strategies in each development period, especially plays a pivotal role in the Binh Duong Smart City and Innovation Zone Project.
Over the past years, EIU graduates had a very high employment rate. Specifically, the percentage of students who got jobs within 3 months from graduation in 2020 was 98% and it was 87% in 2021. These results have confirmed the school’s prestige and quality of training.
