On December 23, Binh Duong Power Company (PCBD) stated that according to Resolution No. 180/NQ-CP on the plan to support electricity price reduction and second phase electricity bill reduction for electricity users according to the decision of the government, PCBD expects to provide support to reduce electricity prices and electricity bills for more than 478,000 customers. Specifically, PCBD will reduce prices for about 477,391 household customers. For tourist accommodation establishments, PCBD will transfer discounts to about 371 customers and to 307 customers who have stockpiles of goods during circulation. Particularly for isolated facilities and medical facilities used to examine, test and treat the suspected Covid-19 infected patients, PCBD will exempt and reduce electricity charges according to the list extended by National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Control, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, and People's Committees of provinces and cities directly under the central government at the same levels. Previously, implementing the first phase of electricity price and bill reduction due to the influence of Covid-19, PCBD supported to reduce electricity prices and bills for 485,253 customers with the total amount reduced by more than VND 583 billion.
