In the enthusiastic atmosphere of early March, provincial Youth Month 2025 was officially launched in Di An city, in association with the kick-off of meaningful works and initiatives, actively contributing to socio-economic development and promoting volunteerism for the sake of the community.
Fostering innovation
Amidst the country's new development, Binh Duong’s youth are determined to remain at the forefront of breakthrough progress, fully embracing their mission in this new era of national growth. With youthful enthusiasm and dynamism, at the ceremony launching the Youth Month 2025, provincial Youth Union launched a movement with three key fields, including organizing propaganda and education activities; organizing activities to care for, accompany and promote the role of young people; building a strong Youth Union, expanding the solidarity front, gathering youth and the Youth Union to participate in building the Party and political system.
Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of provincial Youth Union emphasized that this year's Youth Month should focus on investing resources in activities that promote creativity, digital transformation, business startup and innovation among Youth Union members. Activities focus on the grassroots, promoting the proactive and volunteer role of Youth Union members and creating a spillover effect in the society.
At the event, provincial Youth Union and Youth Federation organized various meaningful activities, including free medical check-ups and medicine distribution, the inauguration of a children's playground and initiatives in response to "Civilized Saturday" such as assisting citizens and businesses with public services, unveiling the “Youth Flower Street” project and visiting policy beneficiary families and former youth volunteers... In order for the Youth Union to spread widely, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee also directed all- level Youth Unions to simultaneously carry out many activities, projects and tasks. This is an opportunity for young people to show their spirit for the community and an environment for young people to show off their talent, creativity and contribute their youth to their homeland.
Proactive innovation
A series of activities done by Youth Unions at all levels will take place with the focus of youth joining hands to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas, protect the environment, respond to climate change, social security and activities to serve people... This year, provincial Youth Unions at all levels will focus on piloting new models to meet the needs and aspirations of young people, thereby creating conditions and a foundation for breakthroughs in the Youth Union's work in the new period.
In addition to traditional activities, the Youth Month 2025 will feature new initiatives in line with the province's and the country's socio-economic development goals. A key highlight is the support for the nationwide movement of “Joining Hands to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Housing” in 2025. Additionally, youth efforts will focus on a peak emulation campaign aimed at contributing to the realization of national traffic infrastructure development goals.
Moreover, provincial Youth Union has launched the "Digital Literacy Movement" to enhance awareness of science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation among Youth Union members. As part of this initiative, each local Youth Union and Association will establish at least one "Digital Literacy Team", organizing awareness campaigns and digital literacy classes in densely populated areas, ethnic minority communities and industrial zones.
At the 2025 Youth Month kick-off ceremony, Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee emphasized the need for the Youth Union to strengthen political and ideological education, fostering a cultured and civilized lifestyle among young people through innovative and creative methods.
