Ensuring conditions for 2024-2025 academic year

On the afternoon of August 20, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET)’s report on the summary of the 2023-2024 school year and preparations for the opening of the 2024-2025 school year at provincial Intergated Administration Center, in attendance of leaders of provincial departments, agencies and localities.

At the meeting, representatives from provincial DoET presented a report summarizing the 2023-2024 school year and the preparations for the opening of the new 2024-2025 school year. According to the report, during the 2023-2024 school year, the entire education sector united to overcome difficulties and challenges to implement the 2018 General Education Program under the set roadmap. The sector successfully completed the key tasks of the school year, including selecting textbooks for grades 5, 9, and 12 for the 2024-2025 school year.

Currently, the education sector is urgently completing the final stages of preparation for the new school year. During the meeting, representatives from provincial DoET and localities also discussed their challenges and obstacles in the process of preparing for the new school year. They also proposed some recommendations and solutions to provincial People's Committee for consideration.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ha spoke highly the preparatory efforts of the education sector and localities for the new school year, despite many challenges. He also acknowledged petitions by provincial DoET and localities while urging localities to continue reviewing, being flexible, and taking the initiative in well preparing for the new school year and the upcoming opening ceremony. He emphasized the importance of coordination in organizing the "Giving strength to school" program for students with difficult circumstances.
