After a half month from the incidents initiated by bad intention factors causing loss to properties of enterprises, the recovery has been very effective.
Reporting to Provincial People’s Committee, Chair of Ben Cat Town People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hong Khanh informed of 25 out of 25 affected enterprises getting back to operations.
Meantime, Chair of Tan Uyen Town, Mr, Nguyen Thanh Phuong, informed of 100% recovery of enterprises. Not in Tan Uyen alone, in Di An Town and Thu Dau Mot City, all the enterprises affected have returned to normal operations. In Thuan An Town, only 3 enteprises are recovering from damages.
As for concentrated industrial parks, the business and trade operation have been back to normal. Director of Binh Duong Industrial Parks Authority, Mr. Tran Van Lieu said that excepting the totally burnt down enterprises, other enterprises have returned to normal operations with over 95% of factory workers and 78% of foreign specialists have returned to work.
Meantime, in VSIP, over 99% of enterprises affected by the incidents have returned to normal operations.
As for importing and exporting activities, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Viet Dung, Director of Binh Duong Customs affirmed normal operation with nearly 96.5% of enterprises affected returned to their normal operations.
Currently, local agencies is making the best efforts in accordance with Notification No. 207/TB-VPC dated May 20 of government office to support enterprises returning to their production and business. Local People’s Committee has demanded for promotion of statistical activities and verification of damages to support the enterprises. Accordingly, the tax agencies, customs, and insurance agencies were called upon to help the enterprises to recover.
At the evaluation meeting, Mr. Le Thanh Cung said that the province would make all-out efforts to support the enterprises; however, he noted that the statistical activities should be enhanced with the help of industrial park authorities and Provincial Department of Planning and Investment.
He demanded than Binh Duong Branch of State Bank of Vietnam should agree upon debt limitatoin and interest rate reduction to facilitate production of enterprises. He highly appreciated enegetic efforts of departments and sectors.
