To regularly study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings
According to provincial Department of Education and Training, the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW was strictly and strictly done by the whole sector from province to district-levels Education and Training Offices, schools, educational and training facilities. In particular, the province-level launched the campaign "Every teacher is an example of morality, self-study, and creativity" associated with emulation movements of "Good Teaching - Good Learning", "Building friendly schools and active students”... These movements promptly encouraged teachers in the whole province to explore, create, and innovate in teaching; improving their professional responsibility and morality; many more examples of self-studying teachers appeared and were really trusted and respected by students.
For example, teacher Nguyen Thanh Hai of Thoi Hoa Primary School, Ben Cat Town. To implement the campaign "Every teacher is an example of morality, self- self-study, and creativity", he built for himself an appropriate and effective teaching method. Accordingly, before every class, Mr. Hai prepares a complete lesson plan; often uses tools and instruments to illustrate his lessons to be more vividly. At the same time, he actively applies information technology in teaching ... For lessons using electronic lesson plans, he exploits information on the Internet, software, applications to design lessons to be attractive and vibrant, attract student’s attention. During class time, Mr. Hai often uses clips, songs related to lesson contents. Thanks to his exciting teaching hours, students really love to learn and enthusiastically contribute their opinions.
According to Le Minh Phuc, Head of Education and Training Office of Di An Town, studying and following Uncle Ho is a regular and continuous task. In order to effectively study and follow Uncle Ho's examples, the town Education and Training Office developed an implementation plan and instructed schools to realize the contents and topics in accordance with their reality; encourage Party cadres and members to register tasks; put Directive 05-CT/TW into specific and practical contents so that more and more advanced examples in the sector would appear, actively contributing to improving the quality of education and training.
From the effort to learn and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings, the cordial relationships between teachers and teachers, teachers and students, teachers and parents in the province have been increasingly closer. Since then, it has created harmony, cordiality among colleagues, creating trust and love from students, creating parents’ respect for teachers. As a result, the teaching and learning quality of teachers and students was also improved. In school year 2018-2019, at the national excellent students’ exam, the province had 29 students winning prizes, including 1 first prize and 4 second prizes; national high school exam 2019, 98.65% high-school students passed the graduation exam, the average score of all subjects was ranked 4th in the country, the average score of 8/9 subjects was in top 10 provinces and cities throughout the country.
To promote the exemplary role
All school in the province have considered studying and following Uncle Ho's ideology, morality, and lifestyle as a regular task, the responsibility of each Party cell, each school, each cadre, teacher, and student. Some examples are the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning in the period of 2016-2020" launched by the Ministry of Education and Training, the campaign "Every teacher is an example of morality, self- self-study, and creativity”. Teaching staff in the province actively cultivated political qualities, professional skills, renewed teaching methods, and applied information technology in management, teaching, and learning.
For instance, Binh An Secondary School in Binh An Ward, Di An Town actively implemented many movements, activities to follow Uncle Ho's example. With the model "Good implementation of five Uncle Ho’s teachings", students of the school heightened their sense of responsibility. The school regularly organized extracurricular activities for students with many humane and meaningful topics, helping students gain experience, officials and leaders of the school also grasp thoughts and aspirations of students, thereby drawing experience and changing better.
Principal Hoang Thi Phuong Thy of Binh An Secondary School said: “As teachers, we are not only responsible for helping students master the knowledge, but also being true examples for them to follow. Therefore, I always told myself to study Uncle Ho”.
Nguyen Hong Sang, Director of provincial Department of Education and Training, said: “Schools in the province consider learning and following Uncle Ho's ideology, morality, and lifestyle as a regular job, a responsibility of each Party cell, each school, and each official, party member, teacher, and student. In the coming time, provincial Department of Education and Training will continue to enhance learning and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle associated with the implementation of political tasks in order to further affirm the quality and position of Binh Duong's education training sector”.
