Early August 26, the Electricity of Vietnam's Southern Power Corporation (EVN SPC) in collaboration with Binh Duong Electricity Company and provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a ceremony to hand over a gratitude house to the family of Huynh Van Cham, a war invalid, born in 1953, residing in Lai Uyen commune’s Dong So hamlet in Bau Bang district.
Of the total cost for the house’s construction, VND50mmillion came from the EVN SPC, VND30million from provincial Gratitude Fund and the remainder from his family.
It is known that from August 26 to 31, provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has worked with the EVN SPC to hand over 5 gratitude houses to needy policy beneficiary households in Ben Cat towns and districts of Bau Bang, North Tan Uyen, Dau Tieng, Phu Giao on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day. Each house is built with a total cost of VND80million, including VND5million from the EVN SPS, VND30million from provincial Gratitude Fund…
As planned, the EVN SPC will donate 10 gratitude houses to the local policy beneficiary households this year. Prior to that, the program donated a gratitude house to a policy beneficiary household in TDM city on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’Day. The remaining 4 houses will be offered to policy beneficiary households in Thuan An town, Ben Cat town and Dau Tieng district.
