Exam season assistance program started

To support university entrance exams' contestants, the 2014 program of exam season assistance launched by the provincial Students' Association starts action plans. After 3 years of launching, the program of exam season assistance in Binh Duong becomes familiar with local people. Contestants of the previous university entrance exams support for examinees of the later exams. Therefore, the program helps and supports thousands examinees. In this year, the exam season assistance program is officially launched from June 25 to July 16. The program's locations are at the provincial Coach Terminal and exam areas of universities and colleges. Trinh Thi Thuy Hang, vice chairwoman of the provincial Students' Society said that organizing universities entrance exams is held at several universities and colleges in Binh Duong, so the number of university entrance examinees is not too crowd like universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, this year's exam season assistance program continues to maintain and uphold the results of the previous programs. Accordingly, this year's program includes instructions of ways to bus stations, exam areas; consultancies, guidances and supports for examinees and their relatives to help them find out exam addresses, exam rooms and complete exam procedures; finding and offering cheap price and free lodging rooms for examinees and their relatives; granting leaflets on exam information for contestants and so on. With the large number of examinees, Thu Dau Mot University has many experiences in holding the exam season assistance program. According to Tran Duc Hoan, vice secretary of Thu Dau Mot University youth union, the 2014 exam season assistance program in Thu Dau Mot University will be officially held from the middle June till the end of July 16. At present, the university youth union has received more than 300 applications from volunteers. After a selection and interview, the university youth union will select 100 volunteers for the program. "With increase on examinees in this year, this will make an increase on accommodation, so the university's volunteer teams will survey, introduce and solve accommodation demand of about 2,000-3,000 examinees. In addition, with 7 exam locations of the university, there will be 8 volunteer teams to help this year university entrance exam gain successes", Hoan added. As such, along with the provincial Students' Society, the Students' societies of local universities and colleges are busying to draw plans for implementing the 2014 exam season assistance program.
