On Oct. 10, the provincial Mass Mobilization Committee solemnly held the 84th anniversary of mass mobilization work’s traditional day (Oct. 15, 1930-2014) and partially reviewed the emulation 2014 movement of “Clever Mass Mobilization” at Thu Dau Mot city.
Attending the anniversary were Vu Anh Tuan, vice head of the State agencies’ mass mobilization bureau, Pham Van Canh, chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Thanh Liem, head of the provincial mass mobilization committee, Tran Van Nam, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and leaders of departments, agencies and mass mobilization cadres through various stages.
Through 2 years of launching the work on mass mobilization at Thu Dau Mot city, many good models and ways contributed to excel local goals of socio-economy, national defense and security. Especially, organizations and mass bodies combined the “clever mass mobilization” movement with the mobilization of “studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples”. Accordingly, collectives and individuals grasped people’s aspirations to disseminate properly the Party and State’s instructions and policies to them.
Typically, Phu Cuong ward mass mobilization bloc’s collectives gained successes in the mobilization of “all people unite to build a cultural life”; Chanh Nghia ward mobilized local people to install lighting system across alleys; Phu Tan and Phu Loi wards urged local residents to implement social policies and not to encroach pavements; Chanh My ward called upon local inhabitants to build rural traffic roads and more.
In the coming time, Thu Dau Mot city mass mobilization committee will continue spurring typical examples of the movement of “clever mass mobilization” and simultaneously renovating operational contents.
The ceremony also included meetings and exchanges with typical collectives and individuals of the clever mass mobilization movement at Thu Dau Mot city, granting of insignias for “the cause of mass mobilization” to 20 individuals.
Addressing the ceremony, Pham Van Canh applauded achievements done by the provincial mass mobilization committee and Thu Dau Mot city mass mobilization committee and reminded that cadres and employees of mass mobilization sector should be closer to people and set out new initiatives and models to improve shortcomings.
