Attending the exhibition were Nguyen Minh Triet, former State President, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and leaders of sectors through various stages.
A constant development
The exhibition includes 37 stalls of divisions of education and training at all levels, universities, colleges, vocational training schools and enterprises. The event is like a lively picture reflecting process of overall development of the education and training sector.
Looking at a developing chart showed that after 1975 the entire province had 6,264 students. Till the school year of 2014-2015, there are more than 96,000 students. In order to meet requirement of education, material facilities of learning and teaching have been developed along.
As of the early school year of 2014-2015, the entire province has 516 units, schools, 100% of classes has been built solidly. Many teachers win title of elite teacher. At present, the whole sector has had nearly 19,000 cadres and teachers.
Duong The Phuong, director of the provincial department of Education and Training said that, during 40 years of foundation and development, the local sector of education and training surpassed numerous difficulties and challenges to develop. These results are thanks to great contribution of teachers and educational managers at all levels, especially enthusiastic teachers. From the effort, the provincial sector of education and training in 2010 was granted the first class Labor Order by the State President.
Dedication for career
The exhibition is themed “Binh Duong education and training sector with motivation, integration and development”. This is a significant activity, bounding for the 40th anniversary of the Southern Liberation Day (April 30, 1975-2015). The exhibition shows up a motivation and creation of teachers by making up learning aids, initiatives, experiences, research topics in service for teaching and learning.
Teacher Ho Thanh Dung of Khanh Binh secondary school in Tan Uyen town said that flexible combination between textbooks, IT and initiatives will bring high efficiency of education and training.
In the academic year of 2014-2015, the provincial sector of education and training sets out an instruction of renovating teaching method of fine art subject on Denmark method. Teacher Hoang Thi Binh, teacher of Tan Dong Hiep primary school in Di An town rapidly responded the new method. From waste materials, she made up lively learning aids, helping students promote maximum their creation.
Experienced initiative named “Some activities of improving English speaking skill for 6th graders” created by teacher Pham Chi Lan, English teacher of Binh Phu secondary school in Ben Cat town showed her dedication to educational cause. This fresh method requires students to promote maximum their independence and creation. Therefore, many students reach confidence of English speaking skill in public .
The exhibition also includes stalls of universities, colleges, vocational schools. Nguyen Thu Thao, the 12th grader of Trinh Hoai Duc secondary school in Thuan An town said that through the exhibition she learned more about training majors of local universities and colleges. This would help her select proper majors.
The exhibition is also a good opportunity for teachers and students to exchange and learn mutually about experiences and initiatives to grasp essential information in service for teaching and learning.
Former State President Nguyen Minh Triet: the provincial educational sector will be developed further in the future
I’m very happy and proud of Binh Duong’s educational development. In the future, Binh Duong educational sector will be developed rapidly not only in immediate schools, colleges and vocational schools but universities. In addition, socialization work will be improved.

The local sector of education and training’s great achievement during the past 40 years lies in grasping political task, offering intellectual for society, people, contributing importantly to formation of human resources in service for local industrialization and modernization.

After the Southern liberation day, the provincial material facilities of school remained modest. The entire province had only 117 teachers. From 1980 and more, the local administration focuses on investing in education and training. In every stage, the local authority sets out supportive policies for teachers and students to improve quality of education and training.
