F1 cases of Covid-19 infection to be quarantined at home, a test try of home quarantine in Binh Duong province

Following the direction of the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control and Ministry of Health, Binh Duong province has drastically deployed to localities, the provincial Industrial Park Management Board, departments, and relevant industries to require all companies and enterprises to self-implement the Covid-19 antigen rapid tests according to the guidance of Ministry of Health on quarantine and testing in industrial parks, factories and enterprises.

In particular, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control in districts, towns and cities is piloting the quarantine of low-risk F1 cases at home. Each locality would pilot 1 F1 case, if any, and carefully consider safety conditions against Covid-19 to avoid community transmission.

Currently, the local Health Centers are organizing training courses for companies and businesses to perform rapid Covid-19 antigen tests to enable companies and enterprises to self-implement. Each company and enterprise appoints at least 1 person to be trained for rapid testing of Covid-19 antigens.

On June 28, the provincial health sector recorded 40 cases of Covid-19 infection in the quarantine and blockade areas. These cases are related to the infection chain of House Wares Company, infection chain from Waste Treatment Enterprise, infection chain from Hien Hoa Anh Company, and Covid-19 epidemic cluster at 36 Duc Tan of Binh Duong 1 neighborhood in An Binh ward of Di An city. Regarding these 40 cases, the health sector has investigated and traced 96 related F1 cases.

Of these 302 cases, there are cases detected when visiting medical facilities, being in concentrated quarantine areas and in blockade areas.
