September 16, in Di An Town was the meeting and talk of Binh Duong Provincial leaders, factory workers, and labor union officers of companies and enterprises locally. Tran Thanh Liem, Member of Standing Board of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee cum permanent Deputy Chair of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee chaired the meeting and talk.
At the meeting, over 150 factory workers and labor union officers proposed some issues and matters of extra-hour work to add up income of factory workers, maternity leave insurance, social insurance, minimum salary increase in 2016, traffic safety, traffic jams, constantly rising water and electricity bills and hostel fees, lacking of playing grounds for factory workers, etc.
Concluding the meeting and talk, Tran Thanh Liem, Member of Standing Board of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee informed that the talks with factory workers and labor union officers show the care of local authority and all-level leadership towards live hood of factory workers. In the meantime, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee, through the talks, wants to inform the factory workers and representatives of factory workers and labor union officers of socio-economic status, social welfare and caring policies of the province to enhance unity and understandings for development of the locality and local enterprises. He affirmed that provincial authority is paying much attention to live hood of factory workers through investments to land funds to construct more schools, social housings, and various activities for factory workers…
