Talking to us on the early days of November, Phan Le Huy, Principal of Nguyen Van Tiet secondary school was pleased to say that the school was recognized as a National Standard School for the period of 2018-2023 by provincial People's Committee. In the last school year of 2022-2023, the school was recognized as an excellent labor collective by provincial People's Committee, with 43 teachers winning the title of excellent teachers at the school level, 11 teachers winning the title of excellent teachers at the city level and 3 teachers winning the title of excellent homeroom teacher at the city level. The school also had 24 experienced and innovative topics recognized at the city level and 2 teachers winning consolation prizes at the city-level E-Learning lesson design competition.

According to Mr. Huy, to achieve the above results, the school has set up a plan to implement the emulation movement of "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning". The school has created the most favorable pedagogical environment, maximizing the abilities and qualities of students, officials and employees. The school has also seriously carried out periodic and semester inspection as stipulated; actively fought against negativity in education.
Talking to us, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga, a geography teacher said that thanks to being created conditions to promote her pedagogical capacity, she has achieved a number of achievements, including the second prize at provincial-level contest for good teachers, the second prize at city-level contest for excellent homeroom teachers…She was also awarded the certificate of merit by provincial Department of Education and Training for "Achieving excellent achievements in the innovation and creativity emulation movement in teaching and learning”; the certificate of merit by provincial People's Committee Chairman for "Excellently completing work tasks for 2 consecutive years"; the certificate of merit from the city’s People's Committee for her excellent performance in studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle under the Politburo’s Directive No. 05.
According to Mrs. Thanh, for teachers focusing on teaching, it is necessary to have a suitable salary policy, streamline records and have more professional activities in groups and clusters so that they can learn mutual experience.
Grateful reunion
In recent days, teachers and students of Nguyen Van Tiet secondary school have been busy with activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’Day. For those who get involved in a profession with "chalk dust all over their hands", these days are a very meaningful festival, thereby demonstrating the nation's tradition of "Venerating teachers and respecting morals”.
Accordingly, on the evening of November 18, the school held a "Reunion Night" for retired teachers. This was an opportunity for young teachers to connect with generations of former teachers of the school in order to congratulate, extend best regards, listen to stories of overcoming difficulties and learn experience, thereby getting more motivation to promote their own pedagogical capacity. Especially, on this occasion, after graduating, many high-school students returned to the school to congratulate their teachers and express their gratitude to the school’s teaching staff. Along with the "Reunion Night" program, Nguyen Van Tiet secondary school also organized many useful and practical activities for its teachers and students. Particularly, the school’s flower arrangement - wall newspaper making contests attracted the participation of a large number of students and teachers.
Nguyen Xuan Minh, Head of Nguyen Van Tiet secondary school’s Young Pioneer Organization (YPO) said that the above activities were organized to create a vibrant and exciting living atmosphere, helping YPO members get comfort in spirit and achieve many better study results.
