Implementing the campaign to raise Farmer supporting fund, during 5 years (2010-2015), Phu Giao district Farmers’ Association organized 1,033 propaganda sessions on the meaning of Farmer supporting fund for all people class; and organized campaigns to set up the Farmer supporting fund. Thereby, the association raised more than 1.3 billion VND, increasing total fund by more than 1.5 billion VND.
In the last 5 years, the association approved and disbursed total capital of over 16.3 billion VND from Farmer supporting fund to 887 members and farmers. Total outstanding loans by the end of 2015 was more than 12.2 billion VND granted to 531 borrowers. Loans from this fund have helped many farmers to escape from poverty, enrich themselves, create jobs for rural workers.
