On March 11, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee coordinated with the Ministry of Health to organize an online conference on strengthening Covid-19 epidemic prevention. Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee presided over the event in the province.
At the conference, Deputy Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long disseminated the Party, National Assembly and Government’s points of view in instructing prevention of Covid-19 epidemic; informed new developments of the epidemic and preventive measures while asking for the Fatherland Front system and socio-political mass organizations to be more drastic in the fight against the epidemic. In Binh Duong, Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have so far organized 2,448 propaganda shows on Covid-19 epidemic, offered more than 576 propaganda leaflets and 230,240 medical masks to locals, workers…
Tran Thanh Man, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee suggested Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations to outline plans on reporting new developments of Covid-19 epidemic to Party organizations, work with authorities to well realize the instructions of the Secretariat of the CPV Central Committee, Prime Minister on preventing and controlling Covid-19 epidemic; drastically carry out the fight against the epidemic, but still ensure successful implementation of tasks for 2020…
*The same day, provincial Department of Health instructed province-based health facilities to immediately implement compulsory health declarations for all people. Accordingly, the declaration could be made on the website http://www.suckhoetoandan.vn/khaiyte, or app NCOVI. Units in the province need to realize this for all people, especially foreigners entering Vietnam from affected areas.
*As of early March 11, provincial Military School-based isolation area received 38 Covid-19 suspected cases. According to doctors in the isolation area, these cases remain in a stable condition.
