The 2024 high school graduation exam will remain the same like the 2020-2023 period in terms of organization and exam modes... However, the 2024 high school graduation exam will have a few technical adjustments to overcome shortcomings of the 2023 high school graduation exam, including increasing the application of information technology to prevent cheating, while continuing to enhance local autonomy in organizing exams. Ministry of Education & Training is coordinating with Government Cipher Committee to complete a plan to transport exam questions through the cipher system.
According to Bui Trong Duy, Principal of Di An High School (Di An City), keeping the high school graduation exam the same as every year is a great advantage for students, helping them to study and prepare for the exam with peace of mind. Currently, Di An High School is teaching in the morning and reviewing lessons in the afternoon. The school also disseminated the new regulations of this year's exam for students and teachers to understand and have a reasonable preparing plan.
“In addition, the school also regularly exchanges and coordinates with parents of 12th-grade students to assist their children in review knowledge so students are ready and confident before the high school graduation exam. The school has also early provided career guidance for students so they can choose the right direction for themselves," Duy added.
Dang Xuan An, student of class 12C1, Ben Cat High School (Ben Cat Town), said: “As the last generation under the 2006 general education program, before entering the high school graduation exam, I was somewhat nervous and worried. But when I received notice that this year's exam would remain the same as last year, I am less worried. In the coming months, I will try to complete all lessons during regular classes and spend time reviewing knowledge, preparing for the upcoming high school graduation exam."
Prepare for the exam early

Currently, high schools in the province are actively teaching according to the regular program, while review lessons for 12th-grade students.
This year, Tay Son High School (Phu Giao district) has more than 100 twelfth-grade students who will participate in the 2024 high school graduation exam. Tran Dinh Chi, Principal of the school, said that understanding the pressures and worries of 12th grade students of the final year of the 2006 General Education Program, from the beginning of this school year, the school planned to prepare for the exam according to each specific stage. Like every year, the school thoroughly educates each student about serious learning spirit. The school also directs teachers to always be ready to support students until the graduation exam date and also asks parents to accompany their children so that they can proactively have appropriate learning plans.
As for Di An High School, this year the school has nearly 500 twelfth-grade students. The school has developed a learning plan with specific stages for the students from the beginning of the school year. “Even though the school's rate of students passing graduation and university entrance exams is always high every year, that doesn't mean the school is subjective. The school's goal this year is 100% of students to graduate and enter university. To achieve that goal, like every year, the school will regularly organize practice tests for students in two forms, online and in person. In particular, the online form on the software will be organized regularly between class times by the school to evaluate the learning quality of students, from which the most appropriate knowledge supplement plan will be created for them. The school will also organize a mock exam to help students get familiar with the exam mode," said Duy.
