Major General Do Minh Dung acknowledged the results achieved by the Binh Duong Police and emphasized that in the complicated situation of the epidemic in Binh Duong, the provincial Police should continue to promptly, seriously and effectively deploy the directing documents to strengthen the assurance of fire safety for Covid-19 patient quarantine and treatment facilities, facilities for production, preservation and transportation of medical oxygen.
Carrying out propaganda, instruction, and safety inspection on fire prevention and fighting and rescue relief, reviewing and developing fire fighting and rescue plans of the police agency for establishments, organizing forces and means for standing ready for fire fighting and rescue. Currently, Binh Duong has 231 quarantine and treatment facilities for Covid-19 patients, all of which are on the list of state management of fire prevention and fighting safety. The provincial Police has directed to compile a dossier of management of fire prevention and fighting and rescue according to regulations; building 164 plans for fire fighting and rescue; 9 teams were established to inspect field hospitals, quarantine and treatment facilities for Covid-19 patients, production, preservation and oxygen storage facilities in districts, towns and cities. As a result, 262 establishments were inspected as 262 inspection records were made so as to adjust the appraisal and approval according to the function of the treatment facility, guidance 686 on safety solutions of fire prevention and fighting. In particular, the guidance is made for the promulgation of regulations on fire prevention and fighting in treatment areas.
