The first congress of North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union for the 2014 and 2019 tenure opened on November 3 and 4.
The district’s Youth Union and its affiliates well realized movements on economic development. They also joined hands with relevant agencies to organize 85 classes on sci-tech transfer in cultivation and animal husbandry; provide free medical check-ups and medicine for more than 700 poor households and policy beneficiary ones while mobilizing the local youth to give 600 units of blood. In addition, they mobilized 180 Youth Union members to attend classes on information technology, foreign languages and supplementary education.
Over the past time, the district’s Youth Federation also developed additional 46 sub-unions, clubs and groups. The district has so far set up 27 sub-unions for young workers, 2 sub-unions for alien youth at the local lodging facilities…
The congress defined orientations and tasks for the 2014-2019 tenure and elected a new executive board of the district’s Youth Union with 29 members. Nguyen Trong Nhan was re-elected as Secretary of the district’s Youth Union.
