Early January 6, provincial Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association held its first congress for the 2018-2023 tenure. Attending the event were Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; leaders of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association, sectors, departments in the province.

The congress also selected an executive board of provincial Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association for the 2018-2023 tenure with 15 members. Huynh Thi Tuyet Hanh, member of provincial People’s Council’s Department of Social-Cultural Affairs was nominated as Chairwoman of the association. Delegates also approved the association’s resolutions and working programs for the 2018-2023 tenure.
