She has been cured by treatments and discharged from hospital and continued to follow quarantine measures at Phu Giao District Medical Center for another 14 days as per regulations on the prevention and control of Covid-19.

Patient 1801 was known as the first community infection in Binh Duong province on January 30. Previously, she was in close contact with patient 1644 during her attendance at a wedding in Hai Duong. The epidemiologic investigation uncovered 94 F1 and 250 F2 exposure who were quarantined in concentrated camps and were all negative to Covid-19.

Currently, the patients are in normal and stable health status. Patient 1843 (N.T.M.A.), a student from Thu Dau Mot University, had a negative test result once. According to Nguyen Hong Chuong, the pandemic in Binh Duong province has been controlled; however, each citizen needs to strictly follow regulations on pandemic prevention and control as well as following the ‘5K’ message of Ministry of Health as the pandemic risk for the community remains.
