*Nguyen Phuc Hau elected as Secretary of provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union
Early November 10, the first Congress of provincial Enterprises Bloc’s Youth Union for the 2024-2027 tenure took place at provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was attended by leaders of provincial departments, agencies and 180 official delegates representing over 3,500 Youth Union members from 58 Youth Union branches within the bloc.
In the last period, despite facing many challenges and shortcomings, the efforts of the bloc’s Youth Union Executive Committee and Standing Committee have led to positive changes with innovations in both content and form, yielding many positive outcomes.
Notably, provincial Enterprises Bloc’s Youth Union organized over 100 journeys and programs to propagandize and educate more than 20,000 Youth Union members and people; established 82 new Youth Union and association branches with over 2,480 members; introduced 1,740 exemplary Youth Union members for Party admission and consideration; conducted 12 campaigns and peak months for youth volunteer activities, attracting over 50,000 participants; donated 50 “Learning Corners”, 67 “Computers for Children” and 33 projects “For the Development of the bloc’s Youth Union”.
In the new tenure, provincial Enterprises Bloc’s Youth Union aims at achieving several key targets such as establishing at least 20 new Youth Union branches and 10 association branches within non-state enterprises; admitted at least 2,000 new Youth Union members; achieving Party admission for at least 70% of exemplary Youth Union members; organizing at least five training courses for key Youth Union cadres at the grassroots level; organizing at least 10 health care and counseling activities for policy beneficiary families, disadvantaged individuals and young workers in and out of the province…
The congress elected 29 members to the Executive Committee and 9 members to the Standing Committee of the first-term Youth Union of provincial Enterprises Bloc, with Nguyen Phuc Hau elected as Secretary of the bloc’s Youth Union.
