Focusing on finalizing human resources and infrastructure development plan to enhance education quality

On the afternoon of July 1, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, attended and chaired a meeting to hear provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET)'s report on the completion of provincial project on "Consolidation and Development of Human Resources and Infrastructure of education sector for the 2020-2025 period, with orientations to 2030" (briefly called the project).

At the meeting, representatives of provincial DoET presented some basic information of the project, clarifying the implementation regarding legal compliance, feasibility and effectiveness to meet Binh Duong's development requirements during the industrialization and modernization period. Specific contents included building a school network; ensuring standard training and improving standards for teachers; investing in advanced and modern shared classroom equipment towards smart and happy school models; investing in STEM classrooms and outdoor activity equipment for kindergartens and estimating State budget for implementation of the project.

Delegates discussed obstacles in building the project such as land fund difficulties for implementation and issues related to educational socialization policies.

In his speech, Mr. Ha requested provincial DoET to get feedback from delegates to complete the project thoroughly and specifically. The department should restructure the project's layout to provide a clear overall picture of the current state of human resources and infrastructure in the local education sector; focus on addressing immediate obstacles in the sector, implement feasible parts of the project first…
