Early April 23, provincial Party Committee held a conference to disseminate and implement new documents issued by the Government and the province, providing guidance on the development of personnel plans for newly established commune-level Party committees. The conference was chaired by Nguyen Loc Ha, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee.
At the conference, Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission presented provincial Standing Party Committee’s guidelines on criteria and standards for personnel plans regarding communes and wards to be merged or newly established, as stipulated by the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 150-KT/TW dated April 14, 2025. These guidelines are intended to direct the development of personnel plans for newly formed commune-level Party committees after the process of reorganizing the appratus and merging localities. Personnel selection must adhere to strict, democratic, objective, transparent, fair and impartial standards under the Party’s and State’s regulations. The assignment, appointment, arrangement and nomination of personnel shall be based on structure, quantity, standards and conditions; in which special attention is given to political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, leadership capacity and reputation, especially to those with innovative thinking, creativity, courage to think, act, take responsibility for the common cause and deliver concrete results and outcomes in their work.
Also at the conference, Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission introduced the Party Committee’s plan to organize the “Reunification Day” Festival in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the Liberation of Thu Dau Mot – Binh Duong (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025). He also launched the “Digital Mass Education” movement.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Loc Ha, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee emphasized that all Party committees, Party organizations and agencies within the political system from provincial level to residential areas must demonstrate the highest political determination in leading, directing and implementing the task of streamlining the organizational apparatus. It is necessary to focus on strong leadership and decisive implementation of tasks related to restructuring and streamlining the organizational apparatus, in accordance with plans and proposals approved by the Government, provincial Party Standing Committee and People's Committee.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the Standing Committees of district and city Party Committees have instructed quarters and hamlets to organize “Reunification Day” festivals with diverse and vibrant activities. These will be linked to propaganda activities promoting the implementation of provincial Standing Committee’s Scheme on “Mass Mobilization in Building a Civilized and Cultured Lifestyle” for the 2021–2025 period, the “Civilized Saturday” model, specific community works and projects in a bid to carry out local political tasks, including “Gratitude Activities” for policy beneficiary families, heroic Vietnamese mothers, national contributors, those with difficult circumstances…
