Binh Duong is one of the provinces with a relatively fast and large-scale development speed of transport and urban infrastructure compared to other localities in the region. To lay a solid foundation and contribute to socio-economic development in the new phase, the province is currently accelerating the implementation of key transport infrastructure projects with regional connectivity.
In recent times, despite facing many obstacles during the implementation process, thanks to the efforts of all-level authorities, departments and the consensus of the people, the progress of these key projects has been significantly accelerated for common benefits.
In reality, everywhere, during the implementation of projects, the task of compensation and site clearance is always a critically important stage. It often requires considerable time and financial resources, affecting both construction progress, sentiments and expectations of residents in the affected areas. Therefore, before launching any project, relevant authorities and localities have thoroughly prepared in all aspects. This includes establishing dedicated working groups to promptly address arising issues and residents' concerns; organizing public meetings and dialogues to communicate compensation and clearance policies for key transportation projects; conducting public awareness and mobilization campaigns to help residents understand the common benefits that the projects will bring.
The province has also established a Steering Committee on compensation, support and resettlement for projects across the province to promptly address any arising issues. As a result, when projects are implemented, they receive a high level of public consensus. For example, with the Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh expressway project, implementation progress has been very fast in a short time, including the compensation and site clearance stages.
