To encourage family members to attend blood donation, Tan Uyen District Authority has praised up notable individuals who made at least 3 blood donations.Receiving us by kindest face and softest voice, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lang was regretable about her husband who was too old to donate blood. She told us about family tradition of blood donation. In 2003, in position of Tan My Red Cross Head, she called upon people to donate blood but they were so afraid to participate. Having it in mind that she should be a model of blood donation to attract local people into such kind-hearted action, she started up by donate her own blood and encouraged her two children to help. For her, blood donation is a life-saving act which had helped her to survive once in 1975.
