Sourcing the ideas
Participating in the "Rural Youth Entrepreneurship Project" contest in 2023 organized by the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Binh Duong had 4 startup ideas from youth union members who entered the semi-finals. These are models including growing bamboo for bamboo shoots combined with growing mushrooms on bamboo leaf substrates of Trinh Hoang Thien in Phu Giao district, production and cultivation of medicinal mushrooms, cyclic edible mushrooms of Ho Hoang Hieu in Phu Giao district, production of Xuan Tai grapefruit wine by Nghiem Xuan Tai in Bac Tan Uyen district, mokara orchid garden cut branches of Vo Ai Nhi – Director of Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company.
Along with participating in contests, Youth Union establishments in the province have actively organized many programs to encourage creativity among youth union members. Hoi Nghia ward of Tan Uyen city has just organized a vocational training class for flower arrangement art. Tran Thi Tuyet Trinh, Deputy Secretary of Hoi Nghia ward Union, said that the training class aims to help youth union members have an additional career path, contributing to improving the family economy and meet the needs of today's society.
Similarly, the Youth Union of Tan Thanh town (Bac Tan Uyen district) has just organized a visit and exchange of Ho Quang Truong's startup model in Quarter 3 where the youth union members shared about the initial idea and economic efficiency of the orchid growing model. Through the introduction of the production process, the method of product distribution, the economic efficiency from the application of science and technology, the youth union members had more knowledge of planting and caring for orchids and practical experience, forming the idea of starting a business.
Formation of cooperative groups
With the spirit of shock and creativity, many youth union members have promoted their youth and built a model of cooperative groups with increasingly high and sustainable incomes. Along with the development of other collective economic organization models, the youth cooperative group model is considered to be very effective.
With the characteristics of the production situation in the locality, the Youth Union of An Long commune of Phu Giao district has implemented the cooperative group model of "Purchase of latex", which is deployed through the purchase of latex and job creation for young people. The young people participating in the cooperative group have stable jobs and incomes while promoting dynamism, solidarity and mutual assistance.
The Youth Union of Tan Binh ward in Di An city has also organized the establishment of an economic cooperation group for a motorcycle repair shop of "Hieu TB" at 152/14 Tan Thang neighborhood. The cooperative group focuses on motorcycle repair services for people. This is a start-up project supported by the ward Youth Union and Youth Union to develop economic development and attract and gather young people to participate in Youth Union activities.
