Forty gifts donated to needy pupils in Phu Quy island district

Binh Duong Labor Magazine has just held the “Giving strength to pupils” program 2019 in Phu Quy island district in the central coastal province of Binh Thuan.

Accordingly, the delegation awarded 40 scholarships, including 10 bicycles and 30 gifts, with a total expense of more than VND1million to the local poor pupils.

With the support of enterprises, the charity program was implemented in 2018, aiming to help poor-but-excellent in remote and poor island areas, ethnic minority people and offspring of workers with fatal diseases.

*The Youth Union of Phu Cuong ward in Thu Dau Mot city has just organized a “Sharing love” program to visit and present gifts to the local poor and lonely families.

This is the theme of March under the “Happy Saturday” model implemented by the ward’s Youth Union from March, 2019. The model aims to uphold the voluntary spirit of youths in organizing activities for the sake of the community, raising high the spirit of “the good leaf covers the torn one”.

On this occasion, the ward’s Youth Union also offered 4 gifts worth VND400,000 each, comprising of necessary commodities and cash, to the local poor and lonely households.
