Due to professional characteristics, teachers are mostly women. These female teachers are beautiful in the eyes of students by noble, dedicated actions to the profession. The three following female teachers are good examples.
During 30 years as a teacher, Huynh Ngoc Bach, an art teacher of Tan Vinh Hiep A primary school was honored by the State with the honorable title of Teacher of Merit.
In 1987, teacher Bach started teaching. This was also a difficult time to teacher's lives. Teacher Bach had to do many jobs to continue standing on the podium. It has been the passion for this profession, the love for little students that helped teacher Bach to shine like today. As an art teacher, Ms. Bach has applied a variety of teaching methods to provide students with interesting lessons. Her lessons are lively, are not limited within classroom but also in school-yard. That is the reason why students are very interested in her classes, so that they are able to promote creativity, show artistic talent. Therefore, she was selected by Department of Education and Training for the training course of art teaching innovation according to Danish methods organized by Ministry of Education and Training. After that, she conveyed this topic to all teachers of this subject and managers of schools in Tan Uyen and North Tan Uyen district.
As head of art teaching group, Ms. Bach has always been a pioneer in all movements of the school. Every year, she helps colleagues develop teaching methods, gains high results at skill competitions at all levels. She also advised her colleagues to complete their teaching initiatives at school and participated in research contests for subject topics. In particular, teacher Bach has many initiatives winning Grade B and one Grade A initiative at provincial level.
* Nguyen Phuong Thu: Being enthusiastic with the profession
A teacher is like the second mother. That is true to Nguyen Phuong Thu, a literary teacher of Chu Van An secondary school (TDM City). Teacher Thu teaches not only knowledge but also educates students about the meaning of life, ethics, and life skills.
To foster students’ passion for literature, Ms. Thu put all her efforts into preparing lesson plans. She still maintains traditional teaching methods, incorporates new methods meeting innovative education requirement. Teacher Thu also demonstrates her expertise through writing many innovative ideas. Many of her ideas have been used as training subjects for secondary school teachers.
In addition, she also participated in writing teaching topics for excellent secondary-school students fostering classes of Department of Education and Training, participated in materials compilation for the 10th grade language exams. The enthusiastic teacher has inspired many student generations. Every year, she actively fosters students, and her students won high prizes at provincial competitions such as Olympic contest, excellent student in literature competition - Sao Khue Award.... With many contributions, teacher Thu received Certificate of Merit from provincial People's Committee.
* Tran Thi Ve: To awake student’s passion for learning
Currently, she is the leader of biological - technical - agricultural teaching group of Trinh Hoai Duc high school. Teacher Ve has worked at Trinh Hoai Duc high school for 10 years, gained many achievements in teaching, learning, and research. In 2012, she got her Master degree of experimental biology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy. She actively learns experiences from colleagues, monitor information from various sources to bring the latest issues into her lessons. In addition to the exploitation and use of teaching-learning equipment according to the new method of student-centered approach, she also equips herself with much useful knowledge while fostering good students of
12th grade, good students solving math problems on Casio handheld calculator, Olympic biology of 11th grade and biology training for students to help students in passing university entrance exam.
These valuable experiences have helped this young teacher achieve high prizes in good teacher competitions, for example, first prize of province-level good teacher competition - Vo Minh Duc Award in 2016-2017academic year. Also in 2016-2017, one of her student won bronze medal of biology at Olympic 30-4, one won consolation prize of solving math problems on Casio handheld calculator, and one achieved the maximum mark in biology at National High School Exam 2017.
