On the evening of October 2, Di An town’s Youth Union in collaboration with the town’s People’s Committee, Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a program named “full-moon festive night” for the local children.
The program brought the local children special art performance items. On this occasion, the town’s People’s Committee donated 100 gifts worth VND250,000 each to poor-but-excellent pupils.
Prior to that, the town’s Youth Union also organized a competition named “Moon with children’s songs” for Young Pioneer Organization members from 29 detachments and 10 preschools.
The program also brought a joyful and significant full-moon festive night to the local children.
*Tan Uyen town’s Red Cross Society worked with its “Kitchen of love” branch to organize a delegation to visit and present mid-autumn gifts to S’Tieng minority ethnic children in Loc Tan commune’s Bu Nui hamlet in Loc Ninh district in the southern province of Binh Phuoc.
Particularly, the delegation donated 50 gifts, comprising of rice, sugar, seasoning powder, soya sauce, cooking oil…, to 50 poor-but-excellent pupils together with 650 mid-autumn gifts to S’tieng minority ethnic children in Bu Nui hamlet.
The program has a total cost of VND40.5million, mobilized by the town’s Red Cross Society and its “Kitchen of love” branch from donors. On this occasion, the town’s Youth Union also gave 2,400 notebooks for the local S’tieng minority ethnic children.
