Early November 24, provincial Club for the Retired convened its 10th congress for the 2016-2021 tenure.

Attending the event were Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Public Relations, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; former leaders of the province over periods; representatives of sectors, departments in the province.
In the last tenure, the club admitted nearly 400 members, bringing the total number of members so far to more than 1,400; set up grassroots liaison groups; organized a variety of practical activities for members, helping them live happily, healthily and usefully.
At the congress, delegates contributed ideas to improving the operational quality of the club and nominated a new executive board of the club for the 2016-2021 tenure with 5 members. Bui Le Huong continued being elected as Head of the club.
Mr.Liem spoke highly of the efforts by members of the club in the last tenure while wanting that the club will further develop cultural, art and sports movements, creating useful playgrounds for members; heighten the sense of responsibility, hold firm to political stance and boost solidarity, contributing to the construction cause of the country in general and Binh Duong in particular.
