In his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always paid special attention to the generation of children of the nation. Implementing his teaching of "for the sake of ten years planting trees and for the sake of a hundred years growing a human", over the years, the Youth’s League and Children Pioneer at all levels in the province have made great efforts to care for and educate children, contributing to sustain the generation that will be the future owners of the nation.

According to President Ho Chi Minh, “teenagers and children are the future owners of the nation. Therefore, taking good care of and educating them is the task of the whole CPV and the people. That must be done patiently and persistently.” Today, when the nation integrates deeply into the world's economy and culture, the education of the younger generation, especially children, must be given more special attention to. Every year, the provincial Children Pioneer directs and develops many plans and organizes activities to improve the quality of education according to working programs in the school year and according to the general orientation of the Standing Board of the provincial Youth League and education-training department.

Every school year, the whole Children Pioneer implements the movement of "Vietnamese children emulate and follow the 5 things that President Ho Chi Minh had taught" by creating an environment for children to practice the teaching with actions presented to learn about revolutionary history and improve the quality of daily life and orient children on morality, lifestyle, love of the homeland, country, and sovereignty, rights to the sea, island, and borders. The Youth League and Children Pioneer focus on creating an environment for children to implement the teachings and activities to form reading habits; at the same time, educate children to care, love, and stay in solidarity to help in learning, beautiful friendships, and saying no to school violence.
In addition, the Youth League and Children Pioneer organized activities to practice social skills and skills to prevent violence and abuses and prevent drowning, accidents and injuries among children; creativity in activities to train children's social practical skills, especially effective models, have been replicated and increased.
For children in residential areas, the district and commune Children Pioneer grassroots maintain classes to foster love and actively mobilize social resources for the care, education and implementation of playing grounds for children. The organization at all levels actively advise and organize activities to take care of and offer children activities on International Children's Day, summer enjoyment, Action Month for Children, Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year and holidays by payingg special attention to children who are the children of young workers and children living in difficult circumstances.
Help children go to schools
What is exciting and meaningful in educational activities is to arouse kindness in the society, being enthusiastically supported by the children by doing small projects, raising piggy banks, and meaningful contributions to help those who have difficulty go to school. In addition, the Youth League and Children Pioneer at all levels have mobilized resources to maintain the scholarships on the occasion of the new school year to motivate the children to learn at schools.
In the past 5 years, the program of "Enlightening the dreams of children in Binh Duong" has been a key activity directed and widely organized by the provincial Children Pioneer in all units of the province. The campaigns have awarded and supported scholarships for more than 21,000 children at the total amount of nearly VND 5 billion. The effective implementation of models, programs, and weekend playground activities for children of young workers, charitable classes for the children of young workers, the night of the full moon festival, the New Year for children in difficult circumstances have been made. In all, they have maintained 30 classes with more than 700 attending children along with more than 100 young people and volunteers to support the classes. At the same time, nearly 8,000 gifts, worth nearly VND 5 billion had been given to the children of young workers and disadvantaged children in the residential areas.
Specifically, the campaign of "dear juniors" is also a central policy of the implementation of the direction of care and education for adolescents and children of the provincial Children Pioneer. Accordingly, many contents of caring for and helping children in difficult circumstances have been carried out to help teenagers and children develop comprehensively. After 5 years of implementing the campaign, there have been more than 910 projects implemented by all levels of the units and helped nearly 5,000 children with difficult circumstances to overcome difficulties to study well, contributing to well implement social security work of the government.
