On April 13, in Di An town, provincial health sector organized launching ceremony of the campaign of general environmental sanitary, and dengue fever, Zika-virus caused diseases, hand-foot-mouth disease prevention 2018 (abbreviated as campaign) with the participation of representatives of departments, localities and local people. Collaborators come to every household to communicate measures to prevent dengue fever, diseases caused by Zika virus and hand-foot-mouth disease. Since 2011, following the direction of provincial People's Committee, the health sector has implemented the campaign across the province, bringing about remarkable results in epidemic prevention. This year's campaign was launched in April, focused drastically on key activities to kill mosquitoes, larvae, and maintain weekly environmental hygiene in order to make larva killing a regular activity in awareness and action of every family, every citizen. Within the launching ceremony, the health sector and local collaborators surveyed some localities in Di An town, encouraged people to raise awareness of environmental hygiene, kill larvae to prevent contagious diseases for themselves, families and communities. After the provincial launching ceremony, districts, towns and cities will hold launching ceremonies in their locality in order to create a strong evolution in disease prevention in the province; At the same time, direct the propaganda and implementation of environmental hygiene, kill larvae regularly and continuously in high-risk areas to improve the effectiveness of disease prevention.
