On April 1, together with the whole country, Binh Duong province conducted General investigation of Population and Housing in 2019. This was the 5th general investigation of the whole country since the year 1979 and has been repeated every 10 years. The Steering Committee at all levels directed investigators to collect general data on population and housing starting from April 1 and lasting until April 25, with a scale of 5,735 areas, 822,631 investigated units (households, rooms for rent), population of over 2.4 million people. The general investigation in 2019 focused on evaluation and statistics of 10 main contents, including: General information on population; migration; education and technical qualifications; disability; marital status; fertility, mortality and population growth; situation of birth registration of children; employment; housing status; basic living conditions of households. Recently, Provincial Steering Committee for General investigation of Population and Housing actively, urgently carried out preparations for the investigation; cooperated with sectors and localities to complete, ensure the schedule, and get ready for the investigation.
