district’s People’s Committee has just held a get-together for more than 100 local
Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims.

It is known that Phu Giao district’s Association of Victims of AO/dioxin has been established in 2013 with 93 members. Under the attention of the local authorities, the association has taken good care of members, especially poor ones. Particularly, the association visited and presented 4 gifts worth VND2.5mln from the Viet Nam Association of Victims of Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin and 114 gifts worth VND25mln from the province to needy members; built and handed over a house of compassion valued at VND50mln to a member in need of housing; granted health insurance cards for all 93 members. The association now has 14 members with extremely difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, provincial Association of Victims of AO/dioxin also awarded 10 gifts worth VND500,000 each to 10 members with difficulties in Phu Giao district.
